Welcome to the web site of the 26th FJS meeting

We are pleased to announce the twenty-sixth French-Japanese Symposium on Medicinal and Fine Chemistry (FJS 2017), which will be held in Strasbourg, France, September 17-20, 2017.

A bit of history

It is in the early 80's that Yoshio Ban, Yuichi Kanaoka, Pierre Potier and Jean Mathieu decided to organize French-Japanese meetings around medicinal and fine chemistry. The first symposium took place in Biwako (Japan) in 1981 and since, regularly, meetings are alternatively organized in France and in Japan.

A unique environment

This conference brings together industrial and academic researchers from both countries with an interest in all cutting-edge aspects of organic chemistry, from synthetic methodology to medicinal chemistry. Besides the lectures given by invited speakers, a poster session will be organized to give every participant an opportunity to present his/her work. Scientific excellence and friendly exchanges are two important pilars of the FJS.

We are welcoming you to Strasbourg in 2017 and we are looking forward to your participation to this unique event!
